The Association for Cultural and Media Activism QUEER SQUARE from Skopje, which runs Football v Homophobia initiative in Macedonia, is organizing the first national roundtable in the country on tackling homophobia in football and addressing anti-gay language commonly used in football. At the panel discussion, we intend to bring together representatives from the international campaign Football v Homophobia, FARE Network, UEFA, Football Federation of Macedonia, players from the national football team, coaches, referees, LGBT+ NGOs and others in order to talk about the challenges and issues faced by LGBT+ people in football - at the stadiums, on the pitch, in the locker rooms, and also disseminate the FvH Toolkit in Macedonian language, aimed for use by football fans, clubs and authorities. The event is open to all people who want to attend, but registration is required.
